Remofirst Pricing
Remofirst charges $199/employee/month for EOR. That is the lowest published rate in the market by a wide margin, and it is genuinely what you will pay as a platform fee.
No company-size tiers and no hidden qualifiers, though a few higher-cost countries can sit above the $199 floor.
The catch is not that the price is misleading. It is that the platform fee is a small fraction of your total cost.
Your actual monthly outlay per employee will be $199 plus gross salary, employer taxes and social contributions (15-45% of salary depending on country), plus a currency-conversion cost on every payroll cycle where your funding currency differs from the payout currency.
The $199 is roughly 2-3% of what your Finance team will actually reconcile for a mid-salary European hire.
We verified every published cost component and modelled scenarios against the six other providers in our assessment.
This page gives you the full cost picture so you can build a business case your CFO will not send back with questions.

What does Remofirst charge?
Remofirst publishes two core products with flat, transparent pricing. The EOR fee starts at $199/employee/month across 185+ countries, flat regardless of company size, though a few higher-cost countries can run above the $199 floor.
Contractor management starts free for documentation and onboarding, then $25/contractor/month for payment processing across 150+ countries.
Remofirst lists the $199 rate as flat, with no size-based tiers; any volume discount for larger teams is by negotiation rather than published.
| Product | Published price | Billing model |
|---|---|---|
| EOR | $199/employee/month | Per employee, monthly, flat rate |
| Contractor (Free tier) | $0 | Onboarding, contracts, expense reimbursement only |
| Contractor (Premium) | $25/contractor/month | Per contractor, includes payment processing |
| RemoHealth | From $55/person/month | Optional add-on: medical, dental, vision |
| Visa and work permits | Custom pricing | Per case, 85+ countries |
| Equipment provisioning | Custom pricing | Per request |
Source: Remofirst pricing page and third-party analyses, verified June 2026. Remofirst publishes a flat $199 rate; any volume discount is negotiated, not published.
The headline rate is not a bait-and-switch. There are no tiers, no “starting from” qualifiers, and no per-payroll-run charges.
If you are comparing providers on a spreadsheet, Remofirst’s line item will be the simplest to model.
For larger teams, ask about a negotiated rate; Remofirst does not publish a volume schedule, but even at the flat $199 it sits roughly two-thirds below Deel pricing’s published $599 EOR rate.
What does the Remofirst fee include?
The $199 EOR fee covers employment contracts, payroll processing and salary disbursement, tax withholding and filing, statutory benefits administration, leave management, basic HRIS access, and ongoing compliance monitoring.
Remofirst also includes 24/5 support and local expertise guidance at no additional charge.
That is a narrower inclusion set than premium providers. Deel bundles free HRIS for up to 200 employees, IT device management, performance tools, and 24/7 support into its $599 fee.
Remote includes 100% owned-entity assurance in its $599 fee.
What Remofirst does not include at any price: a full HRIS platform, IT management, performance management, or advanced reporting.
The BambooHR integration helps if you already have an HRIS, but if you need an all-in-one platform, you are paying $199 for EOR and buying the rest separately.
You save $400/month per employee versus Deel or Remote, and you get a focused hiring-and-paying service.
The savings are real. So is the narrower scope. Your decision depends on whether you need the broader platform or whether EOR and contractor payments are genuinely all you require.
What costs sit on top of Remofirst?
The gap between the $199 platform fee and your actual invoice is where procurement conversations get honest. Every cost below is real and recurring.
Employer taxes and social contributions. These are government-mandated, not Remofirst charges, but they are the largest variable. In Germany, employer contributions add roughly 40% on top of gross salary.
In France, they push past 45%. In India, closer to 15%.
Your first invoice will include these. If Finance has not budgeted for them, the conversation will be uncomfortable.
A refundable security deposit. Remofirst holds a refundable deposit on each EOR employee. The amount is set per hire and confirmed at quote, not published, so get it in writing before you model cash flow.
A deposit is standard across the market: most EOR providers, including Deel, Oyster, and Papaya Global, quote one by country rather than publishing a fixed figure. Remofirst does not publish its amount either, so do not assume it is materially smaller.
Whatever the figure, it is refundable and returned after offboarding, so model it as working capital tied up for the life of each engagement rather than a sunk cost.
For a 10-person team that can be a meaningful sum locked up, so it is a line your treasurer will want quantified before sign-off.
Currency conversion. Remofirst converts currency when your funding currency differs from the local payout currency. It does not publish the margin it adds over the mid-market rate, so ask for the rate methodology at quote.
The cost is easy to underestimate: even a 1% margin on $1.4 million of annual salary disbursements is $14,000, and it will not appear on any pricing page.
It becomes visible when someone in Finance runs the reconciliation.
Health insurance. RemoHealth starts at $55/person/month for medical, dental, and vision. This is optional, but if your employees expect private health coverage, budget for it.
Statutory health coverage in countries that mandate it is handled through employer contributions, not through this add-on.
Visa and immigration. Custom-quoted per case, available in 85+ countries. Budget $2,000-$8,000 per case depending on the destination country and visa category.
This is standard across all EOR providers; none include it in the base fee.
No setup fees, no offboarding fees, no minimum contracts. Remofirst does not charge for onboarding, does not charge termination fees, and does not require a minimum employee count or contract length.
That is a cleaner cost structure than most competitors and means your switching costs are genuinely low if the service does not meet expectations.
Cost modelling
What one German employee actually costs on Remofirst
Gross salary: €70,000/year (€5,833/month). Employer contributions: ~€2,330/month (~40%).
Platform fee: $199/month (~€183), plus a currency-conversion margin on funding. Monthly total: approximately €8,346.
The same employee on Deel costs a similar amount each month, plus its $599 platform fee and a quote-based deposit. On Remofirst the platform fee represents roughly 2% of your actual monthly cost; a refundable deposit also applies, but Remofirst sets the amount at quote rather than publishing it.
The annual saving versus Deel is approximately €4,400 in platform fees alone.
How does Remofirst compare on price?
At $199/month, Remofirst is the lowest-priced EOR in our assessment by a significant margin. The next cheapest is Velocity Global at $399-599/month, and the market standard is $599/month set by Deel, Remote, and Oyster.
The platform-fee gap, not the deposit, is what compounds the savings: both Remofirst and its rivals hold a refundable deposit, so deposit-free treatment is not part of the advantage.
| Provider | EOR price | Deposit | Contractor price | Entity model |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Remofirst | $199/month | Refundable (by quote) | $25/month | 100% partners |
| Deel | $599/month | By quote, by country | $49/month | Mixed (owned + partners) |
| Remote | $599/month | None | $29/month | 100% owned |
| Multiplier | ~$400/month | By quote | $40/month | Mixed |
| Oyster | $599-699/month | By quote | $29/month | Partners |
| Velocity Global | $399-599/month | Not published | Quote-based | Owned + partners |
| Papaya Global | $650+/month | 2 months salary | $30/month | Partners |

For a team of 20 employees, choosing Remofirst over Deel saves approximately $96,000 per year in platform fees alone. The deposit is not part of that gap, both providers hold one, so treat the $96,000 platform-fee saving as the real, defensible number.
Those are the numbers your procurement team will put on the comparison slide.
The savings come with clear trade-offs. Remofirst uses a 100% partner-based entity model, which means wider country reach (185+) but less direct control over the compliance chain.
The platform is narrower: no bundled HRIS, no IT management, no performance tools.
Support is 24/5 rather than 24/7. The company was founded in 2021, giving it less operational track record than established providers.

Whichapp view
Remofirst’s pricing advantage is real and substantial. The gap between $199 and $599 is too large to dismiss, and it holds up even though Remofirst, like its rivals, charges a refundable deposit.
The question for your team is not whether Remofirst is cheaper. It is whether the $400/month you save per employee covers the cost of a leaner platform and a younger provider.
For straightforward EOR needs, we think it does.
Is Remofirst worth the cost?
Remofirst is worth the cost when your primary need is hiring and paying international employees without overpaying for platform features you will not use.
If you are hiring in 5-15 countries and your CFO is asking why the EOR line item is $599/month when the job is payroll and compliance, Remofirst answers that question directly.
The savings over a three-year contract with 20 employees add up to roughly $288,000 in platform fees versus Deel.
Remofirst is not worth the cost when your needs go beyond basic EOR.
If you need deep compliance support in complex jurisdictions like Germany, France, or Brazil, the partner-based model may not give your Legal team the assurance they need.
If you need an all-in-one platform with HRIS, performance management, and IT provisioning, you will pay $199 to Remofirst and then pay separately for everything else.
That stack cost can exceed what Deel charges for the bundle.
If EOR and contractor payments are genuinely all you need, Remofirst is the cost leader and the savings are too significant to ignore.
If you need platform depth, entity ownership assurance, or enterprise-grade compliance support, the $400/month premium for Deel or Remote earns its place.

Remofirst pricing FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What is the total cost of one employee in Germany on Remofirst?
For a €70,000 salary: approximately €8,346 per month. That includes the $199 platform fee (~€183) and roughly €2,330 in employer social contributions (40% of gross), plus a currency-conversion margin on funding. A refundable deposit also applies, set at quote.
Annual total excluding salary: approximately €31,560 in contributions and platform costs.
Does Remofirst require a deposit?
Yes. Remofirst holds a refundable security deposit on EOR employees. It does not publish the amount, so confirm it at quote.
A deposit is standard across the market: most EOR providers, including Deel, Oyster, and Papaya Global, quote one by country rather than publishing a fixed figure. Remofirst does not disclose how its deposit compares.
Because Remofirst does not publish its figure, do not bank on deposit savings; ask for the per-employee amount and the refund timing in writing before you compare providers.
How much does Remofirst charge for contractors?
Remofirst offers a free tier covering onboarding, identity checks, and contract generation. The premium tier at $25/contractor/month adds payment processing across 150+ countries and one-click invoicing.
That undercuts Deel ($49/month) by nearly half and is competitive with Remote ($29/month). Custom pricing is available for large contractor volumes.
Can you negotiate Remofirst pricing?
Yes. Volume discounts are available at all headcount levels.
Remofirst lists a flat $199/month with no published size-based tiers. For larger teams you can ask about a negotiated rate, but Remofirst does not publish a volume schedule, so treat any discount as quote-based.
There are no minimum contract terms, so negotiation leverage comes primarily from headcount rather than commitment length.
What are Remofirst’s hidden costs?
The main additional costs are currency conversion (Remofirst does not publish its margin), employer taxes and social contributions (15-45% of salary depending on country), and optional health insurance (from $55/person/month). There are no setup fees, no termination fees, and no minimum contracts.
Currency conversion is the easiest cost to miss; on a large international payroll the margin compounds into thousands of dollars a year.
How does Remofirst pricing compare to Deel?
Remofirst costs $199/employee/month versus Deel at $599/employee/month, a $400/month saving per employee.
Both hold a refundable deposit, each quoted by country rather than published, and Remofirst charges less for contractors ($25 vs $49/month).
For 20 employees, the annual platform fee saving exceeds $96,000. The trade-off: Deel offers a broader platform with HRIS, IT management, and 24/7 support that Remofirst does not match.
